Known for his achievements on the football field, legendary QB Brett Favre has a rich and fruitful relationship with his wife, Deanna, and their two daughters, Brittany and Breleigh. Brittany Favre
Growing up as the daughter of a future NFL star gave Brittany an interesting view of life in the limelight during her formative years. Brittany found her way and became a lawyer and author. She graduated from Loyola University's College of Law in 2015 and has been practicing law since. Surely, the aspects of being raised under an NFL Hall-of-Fame father were, in part, her experience, but creating a status outside that shadow has been one of her defining traits.

Breleigh Favre
Born in 1999, Breleigh is the younger of Brett and Deanna's two daughters. Whereas her sister was born after their father retired, Breleigh is a daughter who has lived in the shadow of his notoriety since she arrived on this planet.
She was a star volleyball player and earned a scholarship at Southern Mississippi, where her father played football. Brett has publicly supported Breleigh's athletics, regularly attending her games and cheering on his daughter.
"Breleigh doing her thing in volleyball has been awesome to watch," Brett said during the State Championships. I watched my child succeed in her passion, and it was a pride different from any other. Football is very exciting, although I can say the same about her passion and excitement when she plays volleyball."
Early Parenthood
When Brittany was born, Favre had already become a father at 19. And since he was a college kid still trying to make his way in football with no intention of coming out, this created some interesting hurdles as well. This balancing act between college, football, and fatherhood demanded a lot from Favre's youthful heart: it needed to mature quickly.
Favre has said he got a "nice little dose of reality" when he became a father at 19. "I learned a big boy lesson and realized I had responsibilities outside of myself. It spurred me on in many ways and made me want to succeed more because I knew we had a family to support."
NFL Career & Family
As Favre's NFL career soared, the demands of being a father hovered over him. The demanding schedule of an NFL quarterback, with its long hours traveling and playing games, not to mention the physical beating quarterbacks take, was tough on family life.

Grandparenthood
Brittany had her first child in 2010 while Favre was still active and playing for the Vikings. As a result, Favre became one of the only active NFL players to serve as a grandfather in his family.
Favre is now a grandfather, which has changed his perspective on what family means and where we all fit in the grand scheme of things. "Being a grandfather is very different now," he has said.
