The Green Bay Packers recently made Jordan Love the highest-paid player in the NFL, as they signed him to a four-year, $220 million deal, including a humongous $75 million signing bonus.
Now that he has secured the bag, Love could be in line for some big purchases in the future. And if he ever needs a new house in Green Bay, he doesn't have to look far to find one.
Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers joked that Jordan Love should consider buying his old house since he is now with the New York Jets.
"J Love, don't spend it all in one place. But if you do, I still have a house in Green Bay that's up for sale," Rodgers joked on the NFL Network.
Love responded, saying: "A-Rod, I won't be buying your house man, but I'll go check on it, make sure it's well taken care of."
Love and Rodgers were teammates for three years, with the former being the latter's understudy in Green Bay.
Why did the Green Bay Packers give Jordan Love such a huge contract?
Jordan Love broke out in his first full season as the Green Bay Packers starting quarterback, as he was second in the NFL in passing touchdowns (32), seventh in passing yards (4,159), and ninth in QBR (62.1).
The former Utah State star led the Green Bay Packers to the postseason with a 9-8 record, and they managed to score a huge playoff upset win against the Dallas Cowboys (48-32) in the NFC Wild Card round before losing 24-21 to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Divisional round.
