Tom Brady is widely considered the GOAT of the NFL because of the countless accolades he has received throughout his legendary career that lasted for more than two decades.
His success did not happen by accident. Brady did it through hard work, discipline, and insane attention to detail, so his colleagues are trying to follow suit.
One of them is incoming rookie quarterback Caleb Williams, who had the rare opportunity to interact with the seven-time Super Bowl winner this summer.
"He kept harping on competitive stamina," Williams said via ESPN. "He kept harping on being around your guys, understanding them, that relationship. And then, I mean, it's hard. The job is hard. That's what he said.
Caleb Williams plans to emulate Tom Brady's diet
As Caleb Williams prepares for his NFL debut with the Chicago Bears, one of the things he can take from Tom Brady's playbook is going plant-based.
With Williams adopting the GOAT's strict diet, he can no longer consume the following:
• Dairy products (milk, cheese, ice cream, yogurt)
• Alcoholic beverages
• Bacon, sausages, deli meats, red meat should also be avoided • Bread, pasta, cereal, baked goods
• Pre-packaged snacks, chips, cookies
• White sugar, high-fructose corn syrup, refined sugars
• Cakes, pastries, candies.
• Wheat, rye, barley
• Tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, potatoes
• Beans, lentils, chickpeas, soy products
• Canola oil, soybean oil, refined vegetable oils
• Trans fats and hydrogenated oils
• Coffee, caffeinated teas, and energy drinks
• Packaged fruit, juices, and certain fruits
• Table salt and MSG
By doing this, Caleb Williams can give himself an edge over his counterparts, hopefully sparking a turnaround in the Chicago Bear's fortunes in the long run.
