Tumultuous times are often the best arbiter of how much someone loves another person. Randi Mahomes had her fair share of these in her lifetime and the worst one yet may have just struck. She has been posting pictures at the hospital while watching Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs games. What is happening to the superstar quarterback's mother and why isn't she on the sidelines? Let's all find out together.
Randi Mahomes' tough times with her father
The star quarterback's mom has always been cheering for her son. Whether it was in high school or the Texas Tech football program, she was always there on the sidelines. However, she was not seen as much this season despite the Chiefs going on an absolute 4-0 rampage to start their campaign. This got a lot of fans wondering but it looked like Randi addressed those concerns already.
Apparently, her dad is currently battling a tough sickness which is why she has not been to Arrowhead for quite a while. Despite this, she still has a lot of love for Patrick Mahomes and even watched the Chiefs decimate the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4.
"Game time with my Dad and Mia," she wrote on her Instagram story.
Just a week before, Randi also asked the Chiefs faithful to send their well wishes and prayers for the speedy recovery of her dad.
"This is how I fight my battles. If you are seeing this, take a moment, and PRAY for my dad now," Randi asked.
There is no confirmation regarding what type of sickness Randi's dad is facing. But, it is very sweet that their family could bond over Patrick's dominance despite the challenging situation that they are facing.
