After a stellar rookie season with the Los Angeles Rams, former fifth-round pick Puka Nacua out of BYU has been a standout receiver and has proved to be a viable option for Matthew Stafford.

Nacua’s impressive rookie season in which he racked up 105 catches for 1,486 receiving yards instantly made him a star and big prospect for fantasy owners in the 2024 NFL season.

Despite his immediate impact in the NFL, Nacua is only in his second year in the NFL and is still on his rookie contract. He is yet to make the big money like his fellow star receivers such as Justin Jefferson, Ja’Marr Chase and CeeDee Lamb.

At the beginning of 2024, Nacua’s net worth is estimated around $1 million. His current NFL contract is a four-year $4 million contract. His annual salary is around $1 million and has a signing bonus of over $200,000.

This will likely be Nacua’s annual salary for the next couple years as he’s only in his second year in the league and isn’t due for negotiations or an extension for a couple more seasons.

While this is Nacua’s current net worth based off of his current NFL contract, it doesn’t include endorsements. Nacua had no endorsement opportunities when he entered his rookie season, mainly because he was an unknown fifth-round pick.

After his stellar rookie season, Nacua saw an opportunity to get some endorsement deals entering the 2024 season.

Nacua landed his first big endorsement with a major apparel company, the Jordan Brand. Nacua and Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby joined the Jordan Brand this season.

They joined fellow Jordan Brand athletes such as Dak Prescott, Jalen Hurts, Bobby Wagner and Deebo Samuel as representatives of the brand in the NFL.

While the exact figure of Nacua’s deal isn’t mentioned, it’s known for a fact that he signed a multi-year deal with the brand.

The Jordan Brand wasn’t the only endorsement deal that Nacua secured after his impressive rookie season. Nacua also signed a major with Gatorade.

On Sept. 4 of this year, Gatorade inked a major deal with Nacua and he joins fellow athletes Lamar Jackson and Justin Jefferson as Gatorade athletes. Also included in the deal was flag football star Diana Flores.

After securing major endorsement deals with Jordan Brand and Gatorade, it’s obvious that Nacua’s net worth is higher than $1 million annual NFL salary. However, the exact figure of Nacua’s endorsement is only speculative.

However, Nacua’s net worth took a bit of a hit after a week 9 game against the Seattle Seahawks. In that game, Nacua was ejected for throwing a punch on Seattle cornerback Coby Bryant in the second quarter.

As expected, Nacua got a call from the offices of the NFL regarding the punch. The league fined Nacua for unnecessary roughness against Bryant and he had to pay $5,424 for his actions.

Despite the infraction, Nacua’s endorsement deals will help cover the bill and if he keeps up his solid play, he’s going to be in for a big pay day for the Rams in a couple years.
