While it is still early in the season, let's redraft the top 10 picks for fantasy football 2024.
10. Drake London, Atlanta Falcons
The current WR7 is quickly becoming one of the top receivers in football as he is forming an elite connection with Kirk Cousins. London is averaging 17.1 PPG, but since week two he is averaging 20.5 PPG. London just keeps getting better.
9. Jayden Reed, Green Bay Packers
Reed was the Packers top receiver in 2023, but there were valid concerns going into 2024, namely, the fact that the Packers WR room is loaded with young stars. However, Christian Watson got hurt, Romeo Doubs got suspended, and Reed is the clear top dog again in Green Bay. He's currently WR5, and is averaging 18.3 PPG.
8. Malik Nabers, New York Giants
He probably won't win Rookie of the Year, but Malik Nabers has been electric so far in 2024. He is averaging 22.4 PPG, and despite missing week five with a concussion, Nabers is currently WR4. He looks like he could eventually be the top receiver in the NFL.
7. Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings
Jefferson continues to be a strong fantasy option in 2024. With new QB Sam Darnold, he has not missed a step, averaging 19 PPG and currently sitting as the WR3 for PPR leagues. He's already topped 20 points in three games this season.
6. Kyren Williams, Los Angeles Rams
The current RB4 has found the endzone in every game this season, and is continuing to breakout as a fantasy star. He is averaging 19.4 PPG as the Rams starting running back, building off a great 2023 season.
5. Nico Collins, Houston Texans
Collins is the current WR2, averaging 21.3 PPG. Even with Stefon Diggs coming to Houston, Collins has been the top target of CJ Stroud, and looks like a clear top-five receiver in the NFL early in the season. He already has games of 27 and 33 points in 2024.
4. Ja'Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals
In a contract season, Chase is earning his money. The Bengals star is averaging 21.7 PPG and leads all receivers in total fantasy points. After a slow start, he topped 29 points in week three, and 41 points in week five.
3. Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints
Kamara continues to be a strong running back. So far this season, he is the RB1, with an average of 23.8 PPG. He has three 20 point weeks, but did put up a season low 12.6 in week five at Kansas City.
2. Derrick Henry, Baltimore Ravens
Concern about King Henry's age seemed valid, but he is not falling off yet. Henry is RB2, averaging 22 PPG. He has been extremely productive since coming to the Ravens, where he already has six touchdowns in five weeks.
1. Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles
Since joining the Eagles, Barkley has been one of the top backs in the league. He is averaging 24.5 PPG, making him the RB3 so far in 2024. However, he's done it a game less than everyone else, which is why he's the only non-QB averaging over 24 PPG. He has already topped 33 points twice this season.
