Have the Denver Broncos Found Their Franchise QB in Bo Nix?

Bo Nix was officially named the Denver Broncos' QB1 this upcoming NFL season, as he beat out Zach Wilson and Jarrett Stidham in the starting role.
Jarrett Stidham started the Denver Broncos' preseason opener against the Indianapolis Colts, but Nix eventually took over by throwing 125 yards and one touchdown on 15-of-21 passing.
The 24-year-old signal-caller started for the Denver Broncos in their 27-2 rout of the Green Bay Packers in their second preseason match and recorded 80 yards and one touchdown on 8-of-9 passing.
Sean Payton explains why he chose Bo Nix to be the Denver Broncos' QB1
Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton ultimately went with Bo Nix because he has always lauded his maturity and body of work. Before joining the NFL, Nix played a total of 61 games in five college seasons at Auburn and Oregon.
"The larger body of work," Payton said. "I would say a lot of the off-schedule movement throws, and I think he's been consistent. It's not really a reflection on Jarrett or even Zach, it's some of the things (Nix) has been able to do pretty quickly—his arm strength down the field, all the things that when we evaluated him, you kind of trust your instincts."
The 12th overall pick of this year's NFL Draft will be the first Denver rookie to start the regular season opener since John Elway in 1983.
