Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn were perhaps the most famous couple in all of golf and skiing. He was on his way to becoming the greatest golfer of all time while she was dominating the icy slopes. The two have now split up but it seems like there is no bad blood between. So, let's uncover what made this relationship so special and why they even split up in the first place.
Lindsey Vonn was surely someone who stood out among all the other people that Tiger Woods has dated. She might even have a more impressive resume as a professional athlete than the king of the course. This all-time great won about three Olympic medals and 20 World Cup trophies. If that is not impressive enough, she also notched 82 wins in the World Cup.
The two started seeing each other and became official in 2012. However, their relationship took a sour turn in 2015 which caused the couple to just break up. She later unveiled what the cause of their split was in her book: "I didn't like who I became. I had a tendency to recede, conforming to my partner's needs and preferences in an attempt to please them ... I wanted someone to love me, to make up for the ways I didn't yet love myself."
The two have since been friends with each other despite calling it quits. She was even very vocal about her thoughts about Tiger when he got into a car crash. It was clearly just big differences which led to the two not getting along. After all, they are adults and they handled the breakup very well and maturely. As of the moment, she is still not married again but is dating Diego Osorio.
