Teahna Daniels isn’t a household name just yet. But in all accounts, she should be. Women’s track and field, in general, hasn’t really broken into the mainstream yet, but we got stars like Teahna Daniels working extremely hard to make it happen.
Despite not getting the attention and credit she truly deserves, the FanArch athlete continues to become a better version of herself each time and has racked up many accolades along the way.
Teahna Daniels is a four-time champion for Team USA, where she specializes in the 60 meters, 100 meters, 200 meters & 4x100 meters.
The 25-year-old sprinter also recently represented the flag at the 2019 World Athletics Championships, where she placed seventh in the women’s 100 meters.
Teahna Daniels also has quite the resume back in her days as a student-athlete for the University of Texas at Austin. She is a 2016 NCAA Division 160m champion, a 10-time NCAA All-American, and a 7-time Big 12 individual event champion.
To simply put it, Teahna Daniels has won on every stage she’s been in! Aside from being a total badass on the track, is also became a certified yoga teacher in 2020 and started to create designer clothes in 2021.

Teahna Daniels recently competed in the USATF NYC Grand Prix, where she settled for a bronze-medal finish in the women’s 100m. Aleia Hobbs came in at first running under 10.9 seconds, followed by Sha’Carri Richardson’s season-best 10.85. Teahna Daniels clocked in at 10.99.
Teahna Daniels may not always win first place every time, but she manages to learn from it and bounce back each time. A big reason behind her unnerving drive is her desire to provide for her family. After all, it was her mother who encouraged her to join the track team after she reportedly “beat the boys in her neighborhood while wearing flip flops.”
But perhaps her biggest inspiration comes from her late father. Teahna Daniels makes sure to honor him each time she steps onto the track by wearing his necklace each race.
Teahna Daniels still has a long way to go to achieve her dreams. But with her kind of drive and determination, anything is possible.
