Being a player in the NBA is a dream for all people. It is more than just being able to fulfill one's passions but also notching a pretty penny such that one is able to provide to their families. The association pays way more on average than any other league in the world but there could be one profession that has them beat in terms of paycheck - OnlyFans.
NBA players are roughly paid just under $12 million after just one year of duking it out with other great hoopers. This money is justified because of the tight schedules, routines, and diets that they have to undergo such that they are able to contribute meaningfully to their teams. It's fairly understood that these players make more because they are also very marketable people that are watched all across the globe.
Sophie Rain shares the same way of making revenue but she does not play a sport. Instead, her career on OnlyFans has clearly popped off and it has led her to rack in a lot of cash. In just her first year, it was reported that she made about $43 million due to the contents that she posts on the app.
For context, the highest-paid NBA player in 2024 is Stephen Curry. His salary is about $55 million. If Rain's popularity continues to surge over time and she does not mess with the formula that works, her earnings could very well surpass everyone in the NBA.
