Anthony Joshua is a British professional boxer and former two time unified heavyweight champion.Joshua won a Gold Medal for Great Britain  at the 2012 London Olympics. Early Life

Anthony Joshua was born in Watford, Hertfordshire England. His mother is Nigerian and his father is of Nigerian ancestry. Growing up Joshua attended boarding school in Nigeria but later moved back to the UK as a teenager. At 18, Joshua began boxing. He credits boxing from saving from a life of violence and crime. He began training out of Finchley ABC in North London, home of fellow heavyweight boxer Derek Chisora. In 2011, Joshua won the Silver Medal in the 2011 World Championships. He made a name for himself by defeating Roberto Cammarelle, 2008 Gold Medalist in boxing.

Joshua’s personal life remains private but he is a father of one. In 2015, he had a son Joeseph with Nicole Osbourne.
