Early Life
Conor McGregor was born July 14th 1988 in Dublin Ireland. He was raised in Crumlin just outside of Dublin. Growing up he played Celtic football but started to train at Crumlin boxing club at the age of 12 to defend himself against bullies.
Upon finishing school, McGregor began a plumbing apprenticeship.
He later quit plumbing to pursue his dream of being an MMA fighter. McGregor fought under the Cage Warriors promotion and collected food stamps to eat.
He made his UFC debut on April 6th, 2013, in Sweden against Marcus Brimage.
