Which NBA Rookies Have the Highest Ratings in NBA 2K25?

The NBA 2K25 player ratings for the 2024-25 rookie class were released on Friday night via Ronnie 2K on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Zaccharie Risacher and Alex Sarr, the top two picks of the 2024 NBA Draft, had the highest ratings among rookies at 75 overall. They were followed by Reed Sheppard, Stephon Castle, and Donovan Clingan, who have the second-highest ratings at 73 overall.
Ron Holland II, Rob Dillingham Zach Edey, Matas Buzelis, and Nikola Topic were given the third-highest rookie ratings at 72 overall.
Bronny James, the No. 55 pick in the draft and son of LeBron James, received a 68 overall rating, drawing mixed reactions from fans.
He'll likely spend some time with the Los Angeles Lakers G League affiliate as a rookie, although he'll be on the team's active roster throughout the year in the video game.
This year's NBA rookie class has lower ratings compared to past years
Although Zaccharie Risacher's 75 overall rating is commendable, his rating is lower compared to the No. 1 picks in recent seasons.
San Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama was given an 84 overall rating before he made his NBA debut. Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero had a 78 overall rating ahead of his rookie season in 2022.
Risacher is in line for a huge role on the Atlanta Hawks, starting from 2024-25, so he'll have the opportunity to improve his rating as the new season rolls on.
