Loving a Unicorn: Meet Kristaps Porzingis' girlfriend, Laura Vizla

Kristaps Porzingis was the missing piece that the Boston Celtics needed to win their 18th NBA Championship. Many have doubted this unicorn since his days with the New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks. All of those negative notions were dispelled when he played a crucial role in helping Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown along with the rest of the team get over the hump. However, he did have someone by his side when times felt like very low.
Laura Vizla is Kristaps Porzingis' girlfriend. Yes, the Celtics big man is very much in love and is in a committed relationship. The two apparently met when they were partying in Ibiza way back in 2019. It took two years of dating and getting to know one another before they made their relationship official. Now, the couple has been together for a little over three years.
Vizla is also a Latvian which explains why they have such a cultural connection. Notably, Porzingis plays for the Latvian national team whenever it's FIBA or Olympics season. Her girlfriend supports her in this support and also never misses to cease an opportunity when it comes to watching the Celtics play.
She also has her own pursuits. As of the moment, Vizla is trying to make it as a cheerleader. See, she studied music, dance, and rhythmic gymnastics. Her biggest stint so far was a run with VEF, a renowned basketball team back in Latvia. Hopefully, the Celtics star is able to support her in the endeavors that she pursues just like how she did when he was trying to notch an NBA Championship.
