Jalen Brunson and Ali Marks: Love and Support Behind the NBA Star

Brunson is an accomplished NBA floor general who has drawn praise for his ability to play the point and also lead on and off the court.

His basketball journey started at Villanova University, where he was a star player that got on top awards like NCAA champ & Agreement activator All-American. The work ethic and pressure playing turned him into one of the most loved players by fans and peers alike. But even the best athletes have great support systems, and for Brunson that support is his wife Ali Marks.

Ali Marks excelled academically, eventually earning a degree in kinesiology and exercise science from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 2017. She later graduated from Northwestern University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2021. She currently holds a part-time position at ATI Physical Therapy in Harrison, NY as a physical therapist where she is able to maintain her impact on the community professionally and still manage time for herself with family while supporting her husband's sports career.

Jalen Brunson's relationship with Ali Mark is all about backing, quality and determination Marks has been with Brunson every step of the way in his career, attending games when he could and being there to celebrate milestones or help care for him after a challenging game. Through it all, they both grew closer together over the years while supporting each other through a long distance relationship in college. Although they had to experience a long distance relationship for a few years, it was definitely worth the wait, as Marks concluded in Illinois and Brunson attended Villanova.

The couple's relationship reached a new mile marker in September of 2022 when Brunson popped the question to Marks on their college basketball court, complete with candle lights and bouquets. On July 29, 2023 the love birds said their vows in a beautiful ceremony at Chicago's Ritz-Carlton surrounded by all of their loved ones.

Still, Jalen and Ali have worked their way through these obstacles while never breaking stride.
