Mike Seander, who goes by the name Mike, a superb artist from Liberty, New York, who is also an excellent songwriter, has intrigued many with his friendship with the famous professional baseball pitcher Marcus Stroman.

The first steps on Seander's musical path were pretty crazy— his apartment closet rigged as a rudimentary recording studio, a $20 mic, and some towels for soundproofing.

A New Artist on the Rise

Mike Seander's music career is now on the rise, as a pioneer in his own right.

Seander is not signed to a record label, by choice, and likes to capitalize on his growing market with his fans he calls "Steves", in honor of his dog.

Mike, who is most known for his hits "These Days", "Rodman", and "Life Got Crazy" says that he has stayed inspired throughout his journey and sees his hip-hop sound going global.

Seander also owns a clothing company, "Stevenson Ranch", gaining notoriety as more and more celebrities subtly rock the hats and shirts.

He's about set on to a summer tour and is hard at work on the new album he just dropped last month "The Highs".

Duke University Connection

Marcus Stroman first met Mike Seander at Duke University.

His influence did not end there - while at Duke, he also played as the school's star closer, garnering the best ERA in Duke Baseball history, with an ERA of 1.61.

After undergoing Tommy John surgery, Seander never pitched the same after almost 2 years of recovery.

He gets to see his best friend flourish in the MLB with the Yankees, and previously with the Cubs, Mets, and Blue Jays. Stroman made headlines because of his skill on the diamond, but it was his full-throttle "keep going" mindset that helped him jump into the music scene.
