Texas has played in three World Series through the 2025 season. It lost in 2010 and 2011 and won its first title in 2023.

Franchise history
- 1961: Began play as the expansion Washington Senators.
- 1972: Moved to Arlington, Texas, and became the Rangers.
- 1994: Opened The Ballpark in Arlington. Kenny Rogers threw a perfect game against the California Angels.
- 1996: Won the AL West for the franchise's first postseason berth.
- 2010: Beat the New York Yankees in the ALCS for the first AL pennant.
- 2020: Opened Globe Life Field, which hosted the entire neutral-site 2020 World Series.
- 2023: Won the World Series, clinching Game 5 at Chase Field on November 1 and going 11–0 on the road that postseason.
