Super Bowl history
Tampa Bay won Super Bowl XXXVII in the 2002 season and Super Bowl LV in the 2020 season. In Super Bowl LV the Bucs became the first team to play a Super Bowl in their home stadium.

- 1976: Began play in the AFC West, going 0–14.
- 1977: Moved to the NFC Central and won their first game on Dec. 11, beating the Saints 33–14 to end a 26-game losing streak.

- 1995: Malcolm Glazer bought the team.
- 1998: Opened Raymond James Stadium.
- 2002: Moved to the NFC South and won Super Bowl XXXVII under head coach Jon Gruden.
