Super Bowl history
Through the 2025 season the Seahawks have played in four Super Bowls and won two. Their titles came after the 2013 and 2025 seasons.
- Super Bowl XL (2005 season): lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers 21–10
- Super Bowl XLVIII (2013 season): beat the Denver Broncos 43–8
- Super Bowl XLIX (2014 season): lost to the New England Patriots 28–24
- Super Bowl LX (2025 season): beat the New England Patriots 29–13
Franchise history
- 1974: Awarded an NFL expansion franchise on June 4.
- 1976: Played their first season, in the NFC West, at the Kingdome.
- 1977: Moved to the AFC West.
- 1983: Reached the playoffs for the first time and advanced to the AFC Championship Game.
- 1984: Retired No. 12 in honor of the fans, the "12th Man."
- 2002: Returned to the NFC West and opened Seahawks Stadium, later renamed Lumen Field.
- 2026: Won Super Bowl LX in February, after going 14–3 in the 2025 regular season.
