Franchise history
- 1960: Began play as an NFL expansion team, coached by Tom Landry, at the Cotton Bowl.
- 1967: Lost the "Ice Bowl" NFL Championship Game at Green Bay.
- 1971: Moved into Texas Stadium in Irving and won Super Bowl VI that season.
- 1989: Jerry Jones bought the team and hired Jimmy Johnson, ending Landry's 29-season tenure.
- 1992–1995: Won three Super Bowls in four seasons.
- 2009: Opened Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, renamed AT&T Stadium in 2013.
