The White Sox won three World Series through the 2025 season. The 2005 title ended a gap of 88 years between championships.

Franchise history
- 1894: Founded as the Sioux City Cornhuskers of the Western League, later moving to St. Paul.
- 1900: Moved to Chicago as the White Stockings.
- 1901: Won the first American League pennant as a charter member.
- 1910: Opened Comiskey Park, home through 1990.
- 1919: Eight players were later banned for fixing the World Series against Cincinnati, the "Black Sox" scandal.
- 2005: Went 11–1 in the postseason and won the World Series.
- 2024: Finished 41–121, the most losses in a season in modern MLB history.
