Chicago Blackhawks: History, Stanley Cups & Facts

Chicago has won six Stanley Cups and, through the 2025–26 season, has played in 13 Stanley Cup Finals. The 2010 title ended a 49-year drought.

Franchise history
- 1926: Joined the NHL as the Chicago Black Hawks.

- 1986: Changed the spelling of the name to one word, Blackhawks, based on the original franchise documents.
- 1994: Moved into the United Center.
