Eryk Anders set for middleweight duel with Kyle Daukaus

Ya Boi is almost back. Eryk Anders is set to make his return to the Octagon as he's scheduled to face Kyle Daukaus on December 3, 2022 at UFC on ESPN 42.
However, Eryk Anders has lost his previous two fights to Andre Muniz (via first-round submission) and Jun Yong Park (split decision). He is now 14-7, 1 NC in his career and 6-7, 1 NC in the UFC.
After his quick trip back to light heavyweight, where he has fought a fair number of times in his career, Eryk Anders now believes that middleweight is the weight class that can bring out the best in him.
“I get in where I fit in,” Anders said in an interview. “(185), 205, I really don’t say no unless the timing isn’t right or whatever. I’m down for ’85, 205, but I think my best performances and my best preparation and getting ready for fights comes at 185.”
Eryk Anders will go up against Kyle Daukaus, who is 11-3, 1 NC in his career and 2-3, 1 NC in the UFC. Daukaus is also coming off a loss to Roman Dolidze via first-round KO back in June.
Daukaus is a dangerous submission specialist, with nine of his 11 career wins coming via submission. But Ya Boi is a capable wrestler who has only been submitted once in his career, so he knows how to handle himself in the grappling exchanges. Plus, he has a lot of power in those hands, with eight of his 14 wins coming via knockout.
