DeMeco Ryans is leaving a tremendous impact on the world of football. From the Alabama football program all the way to his head coaching stint with the CJ Stroud-led Houston Texans, the defensive menace is constantly evolving the way the game is viewed. But, behind every successful man is a woman who has been supporting him go through a lot of adversity. This is where Jamila Ryans comes in and how she has been making a name for herself alongside the Texans head honcho.

When did DeMeco Ryans meet his wife?
The defensive genius had only ever met Jamila when he was already with the Texans. In particular, she entered his life in the later stages of his career already. Not long after, the two would get married in June of 2013. Ever since then, the two have been inseparable.
The fact that Jamila is a native of Texas largely helps with their relationship too. She did not need to adjust her life too much to be with DeMeco. Moreover, her alliance to the Texans since she was a kid did not get shattered because her husband became their head honcho back in January 31, 2023.
She had this to say about her husband in an earlier statement when he became the Texans head coach, "I would just like to say you got a real one. He’s going to work so hard for you guys. He loves you guys. His heart never left Houston. I just think you guys will be super, super proud of him too.”
Jamila Ryans' life outside of their relationship
Jamila has taken up one of the most noble professions there is. She is a registered nurse and was a big force in combating the COVID-19 pandemic back when it hit the United States of America.
If she is not taking care of those in need, Jamila is back home with her and DeMeco's three kids. They have two lovely boys named Micah and MJ as well as an only girl so far in Xia.
Moreover, she has also devoted her spare time on working for her husband's foundation. Jamila currently serves as the director of the DeMeco Ryans foundation. Their acumen in taking care of people has translated into helping the youth of Texas with their education and boosting their morale through recreational activities.
DeMeco is surely lucky that he found someone who loves helping people as a passion. The Texans head honcho will have a great life alongside her and their kids.
