How was Johnny Manziel raised by his dad?
Paul Manziel and his wife, Michelle, gave birth to Johnny in Kerville, Texas. The family had Lebanese roots and was even tied to a big oil fortune due to Paul's father. However, they still struggled to make ends meet at one.
Johnny's parents had to work as bartenders in order to give him a proper education. This is largely because they did not inherit any of that oil money from their ancestor. Eventually, Paul moved on to two different industries: automotive dealerships and construction. Alongside all of this, they also guided Johnny on his journey until he got recruited to join the Texas A&M football program.

Johnny had all of the fame get to his head at one point in his life. He struggled mightily after getting picked up by the Browns back in the 2014 NFL Draft.
