Fred Kerley is must-see TV. We mean that literally. Blink, and you’ll miss the best show of your life.
Fred Kerley, a proud Fan Arch athlete, once again set the standard for track and field greatness, as he ran the world’s fastest 100m this year en route to another resounding victory in the USATF Outdoor Championships.
Fred Kerley’s run was so nice he did it twice in just a span of two hours. The 27-year-old Olympian completed his run in just 9.76 seconds in the semifinals and followed it up with a 9.77 finish in the final. Those are the two fastest times recorded in 2022 so far.
Here’s Fred Kerley in action. It’s the closest thing we’ll ever see to a real-life superhero like “The Flash”.

Not only did Fred Kerley smoke the competition, but he also separated himself from the pack by a wide margin.
“I put the work in. It’s the day I was supposed to have,” Fred Kerley said right after his record-setting victory. It’s just another day at the office for the track megastar.
Do you want to be as fast as Fred Kerley? Well, it’s going to take a lot of hard work and some god-given talent, that’s for sure! Fred Kerley now has his eyes set on the World Athletics Championships, which will be held in Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon on July 24.
It wasn’t that long ago when some pundits questioned his decision to move away from his bread-and-butter 400-meter to the 100m and 200m at the U.S. Olympic Trials. Well, nobody’s talking now. Fred Kerley’s gamble definitely paid off.
He’s gotten faster and stronger with each passing tournament, and we’re even seeing new dimensions to his arsenal with every run.
2022 is really Fred Kerley’s year.
