Julian Lane is a professional mixed martial artist, who rose to fame after appearing on the eighteenth season of The Ultimate Fighter, a reality TV show that pits fighters from different countries against each other in a tournament. During his time on the show, he gained notoriety for his energetic, aggressive fighting style and his memorable catchphrase, "Let me bang, bro!"
Lane began his martial arts career at the age of 14, and has since competed in a number of different styles, including boxing and Muay Thai. After joining The Ultimate Fighter, Lane quickly gained a fan following due to his entertaining and eccentric fighting style, as well as his fiery personality. He quickly became known for his "Let me bang, bro!" catchphrase, which he would shout before each fight, and which eventually became his trademark.
Lane's "Let me bang, bro!" moment came in the second round of a fight against fellow Ultimate Fighter competitor Mike Ricci. During the match, Lane threw a left hook and then followed it up with a wild flurry of punches, screaming, "Let me bang, bro!" throughout. Lane went on to make it to the finals of The Ultimate Fighter, where he eventually lost to Ricci. Despite the loss, Lane left a lasting impression on the MMA world and his phrase has been used by fighters and fans ever since.

Lane has since become one of the most dominant Fighters in BKFC fighting the likes of Mike Perry and Thiago Alves.
