LSU basketball is always on the hunt for new talents to bolster its illustrious program. The Tigers hit the jackpot by bringing in KJ Williams and Trae Hannibal.
These two Fan Arch athletes are locked and loaded and are expected to be impact players right away.
KJ Williams and Trae Hannibal both started their careers with Murray State under Matt McMahon, who took over the reins in LSU last season.
Now, they reunited with their former head coach and brought their talents to Baton Rouge after going through the transfer portal.
KJ Williams, of course, needs no introduction after winning three-straight First Team All-OVC honors with the Racers.
The 6-foot-10 forward led the Racers in scoring in his junior year with stellar numbers of 18.0 points and 8.4 rebounds.
In a tribute video he posted on Instagram, KJ Williams had this to say about his new path with the Tigers:
"It's been a long journey and now the decision has been made. LSU, let's boot up."

KJ Williams will have a familiar face with him in LSU, as his fellow FanArch athlete Trae Hannibal also made the switch.
The shifty guard was a steady force in his final year at Murray State, notching 9.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.5 assists while shooting 51.9% from the field.
“We are extremely excited to welcome Trae Hannibal to the LSU family,” Coach McMahon said of Trae Hannibal.
“He had an outstanding sophomore season at Murray State. When he decided that he wanted to make a change, he was flooded with offers. We wanted to make sure we had the opportunity to coach him here at LSU.”
