"So let me tell you, from the very first moment that i knew i was going to be passing the baton to Allyson, i was internally SCREAMING. There’s a video floating around somewhere of me during our practice LOSING MY MIND because I’m passing it to Allyson Felix and i kept thinking... I can’t eff this up, i have to give it to her in a good position 😭 I used to watch her on tv in complete awe and now I’m running with her for my country. That’s a moment that will live with me forever. I am forever grateful to @usatf for giving me this opportunity and believing that i wouldn’t eff it up"
